GreenRoad is a new startup out of Silicon Valley that aims to make you and your employees better drivers. The company created a software/hardware package that keeps track of driving habits and tells the driver when they are driving in a way that is unsafe or costly.

The in-car sensors collects information collect information that detects maneuvers the driver performs such as braking, accelerating, lane changing, passing, cornering, swerving, speed and more. This information is compiled and feedback is given to the driver in the form of red, yellow and green lights that are part of the hardware installed in the car. This feedback helps the driver adjust their driving behavior so that they drive safer. Also the feedback can help the driver save themselves or their company money in the way of fuel used, maintenance costs and insurance. Here are some of the benefits at a glance:

The hardware installed is very small, easy to read and blends in with most interiors.
